Chefs Association Unite
The Myanmar Chefs Association is tying
up with Myanmar Mohingar Breakfast to donate 2700
portions of Mohingar packs to the home of the aged,
the boys’ and girls’ orphanages. They
will distribute packs of the breakfast over three
days. Apart from that, the MCA has asked individual
chefs to organise activities to encourage the public
to learn more about chefs. A suggestion was to allow
interested parties to enter kitchens and to see first-hand
what goes on behind the scenes.
This move goes in line with the overall aim of World
Chefs Day, which is to create awareness of the culinary
profession.
