Longest Galantine by Australian Culinary Federation
The Australian Culinary Federation (ACF)
chefs will be teaming up with CIT Cookery Students
to create, cook and serve the worlds longest galantine.
The 12 metre long Chicken Galantine will require the
effort of deboning over 66 chickens, which will be
placed end to end and a farce will be piped into the
centre. It will then be rolled and poached in boiling
water.
It will then be taken to Garema Place in Civic at
noontime and sold to raise funds for a local charity,
ACT Eden Monaro Cancer Support Group.
